Kids Love Tech Robotics and Electronics recreational programs are offered year round in partnership with recreational departments in community centres. We offer evening and weekend sessions that range from 4 to 9 weeks during fall, winter and spring. During the summer we offer full day and half-day summer camps.
Our programs are geared toward children age 5 to 12 who are interested in technology and are intrigued by building and playing with cars, lights, electronics and robots. Each program is designed to engage young active minds, provide a platform for building teamwork, improving fine motor skills and enhancing problem-solving skills.
Kids Love Tech projects include remote controlled cars, robotic arms, lights, sounds, sensors and telecommunication. Each child is building using electronic circuits, motors, batteries, wood, screws, cables and connectors. All projects are made of real engineering and building materials.
Our approach is different from many other robotics and science programs currently on the market. In our programs children use real engineering construction kits using real hardware such as electronic circuits, wooden parts, motors, nylon screws and connectors. Children get real world experience and exposure. This is made possible because a team of senior engineers with extensive industry expertise designs the projects that the children get to build.
Through project building, games and interactive activities, children will understand concepts of energy, electricity, mechanics, and robotics.
Our professional instructors will ensure that each child gets individual attention. Our goal is to ensure that there is a low instructor/student ratio. Our program can be customized in content and duration (from 4-10 weeks) to match your community's requirements.
